Fever duration: Certainly it is unusual for anyone to run fever for that length of time. I don't have enough information about what your doctor did test wise or his physical findings. If my patient does not feel comfortable with my diagnosis i encourage them to question me for clarity. If you feel uncomfortable with the doctor maybe get a second opinion.
