My md called and said see endocrinologist asap my cortisol level 0.04 ? is this life threatening and causes?

Really?: Hi. We need more info. We don't measure urine OR serum cortisol out to the hundredths in the units we use in the US, so I can't make sense out of a cortisol of "0.04". Something is funny. Try to get more info. How about an ACTH to go with the cortisol (since I KNOW that's not a 24-hour urine cortisol)? Are you taking a drug called prednisone? Is your diabetes MUCH easier to control? More low BGs?
