A member asked:

How can the bp be the same all over the body? if i press blood upp in my head the pressure must be different in my head than for example my arm? tu

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BP: The hemodynamics of blood pressure are dynamics and once the stroke volume of the heart is ejected into the proximal aorta the pressure wave is influenced by the resistance to inflow and the runoff from the areas of the body. If there is stenosis of the inflow to a limb, the pressure in the distal part of the limb will be lower than the proximal to the obstruction.
