Yes: That's fine. It can be very soothing and helpful. Contact a doc to get the pink eye treated. And remember wash your hands frequently. This can spread like wildfire to everyone in the family and beyond.

Yes: You can wash the crust out of her eye, but you need to have her evaluated by her pediatrician to prescribe eye drops to treat a bacterial conjunctivitis.

Yes: A warm, wet cloth will be best - just be sure it is not too warm by testing on the inside of your own wrist - it will be the water that helps to loosen the crust so it wipes away easily.
