Probably: This is not a definte yes or no case. You can make an argument to simply follow this with watchful waiting without surgery if it gets no bigger and has no symptoms. However, i would guess that 95% of the time if this is truly a tubal cyst, you will end up with surgery due to pain. If this is an ovarian cyst, you have a little better chance of avoiding surgery because ovarian cysts can come and go.
