A member asked:

I eat ice a lot. could that be a sign of iron deficiency? i don't crave ice but i could eat ice all the time.

Maybe: Ice or starch or clay eating are often seen in people with iron deficiency--this condition is referred to as "pica" and should be evaluated with a blood test to check for iron and evidence of anemia. Are you on any vitamin with iron? Good luck.
