A member asked:

I have had jaw pain now for 6 weeks and it doesn't seem to be healing. i suspected it might be dislocated, but all the doctors i've seen say it's not. if that's the case, why is it taking so long?

Could be the joint: You might have jaw joint pain (TMJ)commonly felt as being dislocated. TMJ is a sometimes frustrating entity. I would see and Ear Nose Throat or Oral Surgeon for second opinion.

Jaw Pain: Hard to say without more information. Have you been checked by your dentist for TMJ and abcessed teeth? Please do this and let us know what the result is.

Need more info: I would go see a TMJ/TMD specialist who can possibly help determine the source of your issue.
