More problems: Scar tissue might develop and your jaw might never get back into its proper place and your teeth won't meet properly unless surgery is performed, and then there are all the complications that can occur post surgery. It'll be easier for you to get this taken care of right now.

Permanent: Not smart choice. It will remain permanently out of position with permanent malocclusion, tooth problems, cosmetic deformity, speech problems, chewing problems. nd possible TMJ problems.
