OK to try again: You aren't going to overdose by holding your breath too long. Remember with inhalers each "activation" of the inhaler only administers a very specific amount of medication. Holding your breath during administration does allow for optimal dosing but wont' lead to overdosing. But you should use it only as directed by your doctor.
