See your dentist: Your tooth could hurt for many reasons, none are good or normal. If your tooth is still sensitive after 2 weeks or more, or if the pain gets worse or more intense, you should check your tooth by your dentist.

Sore teeth filled.: Composite materials have improved a lot in the last ten years. However, these materials are technique sensitive. If the cavity was deep, if the tooth had part of the root exposed, that could cause sensitivity. Other considerations are : Using the wrong bonding agent, over drying the cavity, keeping the filling too big so the opposing tooth is striking that spot. That can cause discomfort.

See your dentist: there are a number of reasons why your tooth is still sensitive after a filling. The best thing to do is to have your dentist check this tooth and find the exact cause. It maybe as simple as adjusting your bite or as serious as an infection. The only way to know is to get it checked.
