No safe level: Our arteries and blood vessels are affected by aging, and more affected by our exposures and our genetics. Tobacco is the leading preventable cause of heart disease - more common than lung problems. So getting older leads to stiffer and narrower vessels. Smoking makes it go way faster. More smoking can make it worse, but less smoking doesn't always make it better. Best: stay stopped. Congrats!
