Artery Disease: Artery disease is driven by nicotine addiction, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and family history. If you have artery disease in one location (infrarenal aorta), there is 70% chance you have it in other arteries. Nicotine cessation is single best long term therapy. Aspirin daily. A carotid ultrasound to assess for stroke risk is helpful. Check in with your local vascular doc.
