Less radiation: MR has no radiation whereas CT does. In that regard, yes. Imaging should be fairly equivalent too.

YES: Yes MRI is usually more accurate than Ct venogram.However certain situations like CT angiography of the brain is usually better a radiologist or specialized physician needs to decide case-by-case if MRR CT is better

For years I've had inflamed inferior turbinates. I'm now scheduled for a CT scan prior to an op. Can I get a Magnetic Resonance instead? Is it safer?
2009 Progressive unilateral (left) tinnitus & HL. 1.5T 2013 (contrast) & 2014 (no contrast) MRIs of IAMs/brain both normal. Chances of missing a small neuroma? I cant 3T MRI due to magnetic implant since 2015 for other issue. 2021 CT result normal.|?
