Probably not: The interaction of metformin with IV contrast can be very serious. To avoid problems, the usual recommendation is to stop taking metformin for 48 hours after getting contrast. If you do take a metformin, it doesn't necessarily mean you will have a problem, it simply increases your risk. If your heart health allows, drink plenty of water before and after the exam. Call your doctor with quesitons.
