Maybe: In general, they are safe. There is growing concern that multiple ct's may lead to excess radiation exposure and potential long-term issues. If you really need one - do it! but, docs order way too many - many are done to help protect them from lawsuits. Plaintiff's attorneys love delayed diagnoses.
