My son has been vomiting for a week now his bowlmovement is some what ok no fever and he acts fine he usually vomits once or twice a day what to do?

Vomiting for 1 week: We need more information, as to how old is your son, did he have loose stools, fever etc.Did you give him any medication including over the counter meds.It seems from your question that he had viral gastroenteritis, and seem to be getting better, you can try ranitidine or Prilosec over the counter if vomiting persist.Give him extra clear liquids and bland diet, if still vomoting, see your doctor.

Stomach virus: When a child gets a stomach virus it can strip the normal bacteria from his gut and cause him to have problems digesting food until it gets back to normal (up to 30 days) . Encourage fluids, limit dairy products and avoid greasy, fried or highly seasoned foods until he is feeling better. Yogurt or other probiotics may help. If he gets worse or it is not resolving take him back to his pediatrician.
