No problems: Orajel should be safe to use during pregnancy.

Pregnancy Treatment: Orajel might be safe if used according to directions but it will do nothing to alleviate the cause of the pain. Please see a dentist asap! Under almost all conditions you can receive dental treatment that is both safe to you and your unborn child. There are some basic precautions. Have your dentist discuss this with both you and your Obstetrician. Not getting proper treatment is often worse!

Wrong Approach: You should be consulting with your dentist to determine what is amiss with that tooth. Your dentist will consult with your OBGYN and together they will determine the best way for you to be treated. Orajel will do nothing for a bad toothache, and you cannot wait until you give birth. All the best...

See your dentist: Toothache will not resolve on its own. Dental care is safe and essential during pregnancy. Delay in necessary treatment could cause harm to you and possibly to the baby. See your dentist for evaluation and treatment.
