No meds needed: Triglycerides have to be quite high, probably over 400+, to consider drug therapy for treatment. The best treatment for elevated triglycerides is weight loss & dietary sugar control. I would not consider drug treatment for your triglycerides of 167. LDL is fine, particularly without meds, and we would very much like to avoid meds in female your age. Try to boost HDL with more exercise! Good luck!
