A member asked:

If i have pmdd and endometriosis, will a partial hysterectomy help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some: It will eliminate your periods, but it won't eliminate endometriosis. If you're trying to maintain your ovaries, you might be better off with endometrial ablation and laparoscopy to cauterize the endometriosis followed by use of lupron (leuprolide). If that doesn't carry you over to the age of menopause then a total hysterectomy would be advised. The procedure i mentioned would be outpatient too
