Usually: .. back pain that only occurs after swallowing food or drink is related to a problem in the esophagus (erosion or stricture and even perforation) or an inflamed pancreas. this is a symptom that warrants urgent evaluation. Good luck!

Difficult to say: Pain in the low back on either side could be due to a variety of things from muscles, joints nerves and problems with your internal organs such as your kidneys. It is worth getting evaluated to make sure it is nothing serious. Try physical therapy and conservative measures. You may benefit from seeing an interventional pain physician.
