Use ABCDE RULE: It's best to see a dermatologist but a good rule of thumb is the abcd guidelines a=asymmetry of lesion b=border is irregular c=colors are multiple and not consistent d=diameter is greater than 6mm e=evolution of lesion with changes and enlargement.
