Scaphoid fracture?: I would go for an X-ray ASAP. Wrist sprains that persist could certainly be a scaphoid fracture or scapholunate injury. You can find lots if info on the web about both. Head in for an X-ray soon. An orthopedic hand surgeon would be best but for now I would just go wherever you can. Good luck. Also limit your Tylenol (acetaminophen) to under 4000 mg a day

Safe but Be Careful!: If you are taking one 500mg tab 3 times in 24 hours, that is a safe dose. Two 500mg tabs every 8 hours is the NEW MAX Daily Dose of 3000mg a day (was 4000). THE REAL CONCERN IS WHAT ELSE ARE YOU CONSUMING? Many over the counter meds also have acetaminophen as an ingredient. 150 people a year DIE from too much acetaminophen! And some are concerned that alcohol use increases liver damage danger.
