Tylenol (acetaminophen) dosage: Make sure you are giving him the appropriate dose of tylenol (acetaminophen). Should be 5 ml per 20pounds of body weight.

How is he acting?: Temp of 37.9 is not fever - no need to treat. Remember that fever is the body's way of fighting infection, so if your son is acting okay, and staying hydrated (drink plenty of water etc) then just monitor. If the fever is affecting him (listless, lethargic) then you will want to give tylenol (acetaminophen) (up to every 4 hrs). If he's not drinking and is lethargic then you need to get him assessed in person.
