Electrolytes?: Aside from a new exercise routine causing microtears in the muscles and hydration, sometimes it happens due to an electrolyte imbalance. Sports drinks also contain salt and some contain potassium. You can try eating something with salt if your blood pressure is fine and potatoes and bananas are both good sources of potassium. Calcium and Magnesium are rarer deficits.
