A member asked:

I have been having severe muscle cramping in my calves and hamstrings. been taking mg and ca and rehydrate and drink loads of water. it becomes so bad i struggle to walk. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Calf pain : Calf/hamstring pain can be from the muscle or from problems with the nerve that connects and controls it. The nerve controlling the calf muscle comes from the back and calf pain is common from back problems even without back pain. It is possible that it can be a circulation problem. I wonder if the artery circulation was checked. You need to evaluated by a doctor to understand this better.
