Mitral regurgitation: You should have this discussion with a cardiologist who can evaluate you and your status and review your data. Surgery is an option for many patients with severe mitral regurgitation but more is involved in the evaluation than what you have above, any recommendation from here has to be to see a cardiologist personally.
