Dysmenorrhea: Sometimes a particularly painful menses can occur, sometimes a miscarriage occurs, some patients have endometriosis which is very painful. It would be a good idea to see your PCP or OB-Gyn specialist for an exam also to rule out any sexually transmitted disease infections. Try taking 2 aleve (naproxen) if not allergic. Heat helps, too. Take care.
