YES: An enlarged thyroid may NOT be palpable in your neck...It may lie lower down and cause the symptoms you mention. A THYROID SCAN is indicated. Speak with your Primary Care Provider who will recommend n Endocrinologist ... a gland specialist Hope this helps! Dr Z
