Yes, Need Treatment: Hyperthyroidism can cause a lot of symptoms. Some people will feel pressure in the neck because the thyroid is usually enlarged. You may feel pressure in your head/ears from increased blood flow, heart rate, anxiety...Dizziness/lightheadedness is very common. The eyes may open wider than nl (in Graves' dz the eye muscles enlarge). With tx the sx's should improve quickly! The eyes may need spec tx.
