35m i have enlarged thyroid that causes thyroid storms. what symptoms can this cause and can a thyroid blood test find out if i have hyperthyroidism? and if i do what can they do about it? i'm on pain killers that aren't sufficient. please advise.

Thyroid storm: Thyroid storm is a deadly problem if you have it. See your Dr ASASP. Immediate treatment should include putting you into the hospital and giving meds and possible doing surgery. Don't mess with the storm. Lightning may strike.
