One eyelid or two?: Unilateral swelling needs to be investigated. Look for underlying symptoms. Has your thyroid been checked? What other medical, eye, skin, environmental allergy conditions do you have? If it peels, have your doctor look at it and advise, refer to eye doctor too as corner scabbing isn't normal. They will view it under a slit lamp microscopy and diagnose it properly for treatment.
