Not necessarily: Traces of blood in urine can result from many reasons, running and exercise is amongst few of the benign reasons, however it can be an early sign of cancer as well. A thorough investigation is mandatory for anyone with strong family history. One should consult the PCP right away and ideally should be evaluated by a Urologist. A kidney ultrasound is one of the many tests needed.
