Many options : There are many options before you jump to hysterectomy. Marina iuds are great at controlling cycles. Lysteda is an effective nonhormonal treatment. He sonohysterogram might detect a small polyp or fibroid causing the bleeding. Testing for an underlying bleeding disorder such as a von willebrand's may be indicated. Don't give up just because birth control didn't work.
