Need a biopsy: Unfortunately, the presence of lymph nodes themselves tells u only that there's a problem. It could be a (viral) infection, but u r right to b worried about lymphoma. The symptoms of viruses & lymphoma overlap (wt loss, fever, not feeling well). Some lymphomas r caused by viruses. The quickest way to know is to biopsy 1 of the glands; it should be EZ, TTY surgeon. Procedure is relatively pain-free
