Discuss with doctor: If the doctor biopsied the lesion, you should discuss the findings with him. In general, colonic lesions found at colonoscopy should be removed.

Diverticulosis: Diverticuli are small pouches in your intestine. When stool gets stuck in there it can become painful - diverticulitis. The 3cm lesion needs to be biopsied for things such as cancer or pre cancer. Please see your doctor for more answers.

Hello doctors!! I know that you cannot predict with certainty...BUT....I am having a colonoscopy. Thank God I do not have any overt symptoms. FOBT negative. Is it possible to have colon cancer (advanced) or other serious disease(s) with no symptoms?
