Less pasta: There are several ways to make pasta dishes healthier but the easiest one is to use less pasta and more fresh meats, fish or vegetables. Pasta is a high carbohydrate food and unless you are using whole wheat it has very little fiber. When you serve a pasta dish make sure there is some protein and serve a small portion of pasta and more sauce and other ingredients.
