Etiology: You should be trying to discover the etiology for the clot. Make sure your medical team is aware of all the medicines you are taking, and any OTC products that you are using. They will be looking to try to determine if there is a predisposition for recurrence, and give you advice on what to do in the future to avoid recurrence.

Whatever you like.: Why did it happen? Are you taking BCP? Did you recently have surgery like C section? How can you prevent future occurrence? How long the treatment will last? Where is DVT-How far up in the Lower extremity? What are some of the risk and symptoms you need to look out for? What drug and food should be avoided or Taken ?
