Keep scar clean: Apply vitamin E or coco butter to keep the scar lubricated and itch free. You can cover it with silicone gel to avoid further irritation of the scar and promote healing. Use sunscreen out doors, later bleaching agents if the skin darkens in that area of scar. Hypertrophic scars will need consultung your Dermatologist for steroid injection or Laser resurfacing Hope this helps.
