Till the drum heals: It would not be uncommon to have hearing loss until the ear drum heals. If you have a ruptured ear drum, see your doctor so he can ensure proper healing.

Went to see my doctor 1 mo ago when I was losing hearing in my right ear and experiencing a lot of liquids coming out. She said I ruptured my eardrum & I needed to wait 2-3 months for it to heal. I now hear ringing and have more discharge that smells?
