My daughter's scar is getting worse. how can i get rid of it?

See dermatologist: You may want to see a dermatologist. There are medications and treatments that may decrease the thickness or prominence of a scar. Some people will have thicker scars with keloid formation, and trying to modify the scar may cause the same problem. Massaging a scar frequently may make it softer and flatter, but it depends on the tissue. Talk to a specialist.
