A member asked:

My mom is suffering from 100% stenosis at s! s2 (racepinephrine) in left anterior descending in heart with d1 showing 40-50% st. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Occlusion: Your mother's LAD is occluded (= 100% stenosis) between the first and second septal peforators. Her D1 (first diagonal) disease is non-obstructive (=not a problem). Her outlook depends on her LV function, wall motion/LV aneurysm?, ejection fraction, collaterals, and presence or absence of congestive heart failure as well as the condition of her left circumflex and right coronary arteries.
