Hydrocele & hematoma: A hydrocele is a fluid accumulation around a testicle in a newborn. These are not uncommon, self resolve and pose no fertility risk. A hematoma is a collection of blood, usually from trauma, which may or may not affect fertility. These are rare newborns.
