Several Possibilties: Could be fibro or could have a hormonal component, but depending on location, duration, & other factors, could be due to chronic mechanical problems from short leg to scoliosis, spinal dysfnctn, chronic muscle spasm, mineral deficiencies, organ problems, autoimmune disorder, infection, etc. A history & physical by a good osteopathic dr. may lead to proper diagnosis & treatment.
