For that last 8mths i've had symptoms simular to fibromyalgia. stiffness tenderness and pain all over. isn't that also symptoms of hiv?

NO : Typically with HIV there are no symptoms until the disease has progressed. The symptoms of HIV do not include the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

No: Acute HIV is usually night sweats, weight loss and significant fatigue along with swollen lymph nodes. Even so, I would definitely be tested for HIV if you have any concern that you have been exposed. The symptoms you describe are primarily pain and that is typical of fibromyalgia.
