What hereditary condition causes muscle spasms, pain and twitching. my dad had "fibromyalgia" but than died young/fit. i have the same symptoms now ?

Channelopathy: Here's what you need to do. Get your dad's old EKG's, get and EKG yourself, and talk with one of your physicians about whether you might have myotonia congenita or one of the dozen-or-so "channelopathies" that can cause muscle stuff like this and also sudden death. If your dad had a decent autopsy, get ahold of that too. Then get with a capable physician and figure it all out. Stay pro-active.
