Pre-period bleeding: If not on oral contraceptives, sometimes ovulation does not produce a "normal" follicle (area productive of hormones in the ovary after release of the egg). This will result in incomplete progesterone manufacture in that cycle, causing varying forms of early bleeding. If these kind of cycles continue, see your healthcare provider for advise.
