Hi my period is due today but since early last week i have been getting brown discharge or brown blood the every so often blood would come disappear ?

Old blood: Probably no need to worry too much at this point. Brown blood with discharge is often a sign of some old blood that's been hanging around up in your uterus, cervix or upper vagina since your last period and sometimes causes that brown spotting during your cycle before your next period or sometimes even during your next period. If your period is a few days late, don't worry too much.
