Many possibilities. : Irritation or strain to the muscles and tendons of the groin can cause pain with ambulation. Arthiritis of the hip joint or dysfunction at the pubic symphysis can result in pain as well. An inguinal hernia can discomfort with any increases in abdominal pressure. In men, a hydrocele, spermatocele, or varicocele can cause a sense of fullness and pain in the region.
