Female, 55 years old. have pain in lower back and leftside groin. very painful to walk and have to stop. i have had several eperdorials but didn't help. hurts to bend on leftside.

May be your hip: If epidurals did nothing to ease the pain, even temporarily, and your groin pain limits your walking, have your hip evaluated, since groin pain is typical of that joint. Have you considered trying acupunture? Osteopathy? Or chiropractic? Pay attention to what other actions produce the pain, ie stairs, stiffness after sitting in the car or a chair, lying on your side or back in bed.
