Inguinal pain: This could still be a hernia. It is difficult to diagnose an inguinal hernia in females, however they are not uncommon. Be sure to see an experienced general surgeon if the symptoms continue or worsen. It is important to have a pelvic ultrasound to evaluate the pelvis to rule out gynecological pathology.

Ct scan: I would get a ct scan to make sure an occult hernia isn't missed or other pathology like an ovarian cyst.
